SFCA 50th ANNUAL DINNER ANNIVERSARY

2015 sees the 50th anniversary of the Surrey Football Coaches Association. The founding committee included Bobby Robson and they formed the Association for coaches to gain and share knowledge & experiences for their coaching roles, something which remains a key benefit to members of the Association to this day!

Please be reminded that to celebrate this milestone, we will be holding a special 50th Anniversary dinner on Monday 20th July.

It will be held at Craven Cottage Fulham FC, where of course Sir Bobby started both his playing and coaching careers.

Tickets are on sale now – see below. If you have not booked yours yet, I urge you to do so as the event is now 50% full and tickets are about to go on general sale (ie to others in the football world outside of our membership).

The dinner will feature the following:
Arrival through the players entrance, past the Cottage, round the pitch, past the dugouts, into the hospitality suites (please note disabled access straight to the hospitality suites by car is available)
Pre-dinner drinks and socialising – held in the Chairman’s Club (plus full access to the Riverside Terrace)
3 course meal, followed by tea/coffee – held on the Riverside Terrace
After-dinner speakers
After-dinner drinks and socialising – held in the Chairman’s Club (plus full access to the Riverside Terrace)

*As a mark of appreciation for his lifelong support of the Association and respect to our late President, Sir Bobby Robson, all monies raised on the evening will be donated ‘The Sir Bobby Robson Foundation’ (charity reg.no. 1057213)

We are delighted that Lady Elsie Robson and Robson family members, including Sir Bobby’s sons will be attending the dinner.

Dress code for the evening will be lounge suit for men, cocktail dress or trousers for ladies.

Timings are as follows:
Arrivals from 5.30pm
Dinner seating at 7.15pm sharp
Bar closes 11.00pm
Carriages 11.30pm

Menu choices to be announced once Fulham FC have finalised their summer menu.

The cost of individual tickets for the dinner are priced at £50.
Partners and/or friends are very much welcome.

Exclusive tables of 10 can also be booked (also £50 per person). Larger tables are available on request.

Starter: Duo of Scottish salmon - salmon confit & blackened salmon with a white wine caper jelly & micro herb salad
Main: Pan-fried supreme of corn fed chicken with rosti potato, carrot & green bean bundles and crispy leeks served with warm salsa verde
Dessert: Lemon posset with popping candy & raspberry compote
